Personal data

This site sets no cookies or trackers and does not measure its audience.

To deliver the pages and protect the service, Scaleway, the host and processor of BITMAKER, the data controller, processes connection data (IP address, date, page requested, browser), on the basis of BITMAKER’s legitimate interest in running and securing the site. The site is served from Paris. BITMAKER keeps no connection logs. Scaleway does not publish a period for these technical logs. Where Scaleway keeps logs to secure its own services or meet its legal obligations, it acts as a separate data controller (privacy@scaleway.com, scaleway.com/en/privacy-policy).

If you write to thibaut@bitmaker.fr, your message is used to reply to you and, if work follows, to manage it. The legal basis is BITMAKER’s legitimate interest in answering the messages it receives or, for a request for a quote or for work, steps taken at your request before a contract, then the contract. The message is hosted by Proton AG, a Swiss company (Switzerland is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision). It is kept for three years after the last exchange; if it relates to a contract, it is archived for the legal limitation period (five years).

You can ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and set instructions on what happens to your data after your death, by writing to thibaut@bitmaker.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr). Connection data is technically necessary to display the site. Writing to thibaut@bitmaker.fr is optional, but without a message BITMAKER cannot reply to you; for a quote or for work, your contact details are needed to prepare it and enter into the contract.

Right to object: you can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on BITMAKER’s legitimate interest, by writing to thibaut@bitmaker.fr.
